We’ve all seen the Qur’an placed haphazardly, spines neglected, and pages bent. Together, we can do better.

I’m thrilled to share one final product release as Ramadan approaches: our exquisitely hand-embroidered Juzdan.

You might be wondering, what is a Juzdan? Traditionally, to ensure the Qur’an was treated with the utmost respect and care—and to protect it while transporting or handling it without being in a state of wudu—Muslims would cover their Qur’ans with a protective cover, known as a Juzdan.

I collaborated with a team of traditional embroiderers in Pakistan to create a limited supply of beautifully hand-embroidered silk Juzdans. These covers are a delight to touch and behold, offering the perfect way to tuck your Qur’an away after a session of recitation. They’re also ideal for bringing your Qur’an to special occasions like a Nikah or Aqiqah.

Growing up, I remember the texture and feel of my mother’s Juzdan and how it instilled in me a deeper sense of reverence when holding the Qur’an. I pray these Juzdans do the same for you and your loved ones.
